Alaya Apartment Collapse: A building named Alaya Apartment has collapsed in Wazir Hasan Road in Hazratganj area of Lucknow.

Alaya Apartment Collapse: Alaya Apartment located on Wazir Hasan Road in Hazratganj area of Lucknow collapsed on Wednesday evening. Many people are feared to be buried in the debris. The police force and fire brigade teams have reached the spot and are engaged in relief and rescue work. Many people are suspected to be buried in this.

Taking cognizance of the building collapse, CM Yogi immediately directed the district administration officials to take the injured to the hospital for their proper treatment. The CM also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Along with this, the District Magistrate and senior police officers with the teams of SDRF and NDRF have also been instructed to go on the spot and get relief work done. CM Yogi has also instructed many hospitals to remain alert.

3 Dead bodies have been recovered – Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

On the collapse of the building on Wazir Hasanganj Road, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said that the building suddenly collapsed, and relief and rescue work is being done. The SDRF, NDRF team is present on the spot. 3 dead bodies have been recovered. All efforts are being made to save people.

Divisional Commissioner Roshan Jacob is present at the spot. The people present on the upper floors are being evacuated. It is feared that around 80-90 people are buried under the debris. This building was also said to be dilapidated.

Some local people even claim that around 50 families were living in the building, which there could be around 150 people. It is being told that the family of a senior SP leader also used to live on the upper floor.
