AIIMS Neurosurgeon Found Dead In South Delhi Home; Suspected Suicide

A 34-year-old neurosurgeon at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was found dead in his South Delhi home on Sunday. The police suspect suicide.

The deceased, Raj Ghoniya, was a resident of Rajkot, Gujarat. Authorities discovered used vials of medicine and syringes at his residence in the Gautam Nagar area, indicating a possible overdose.

The police received a call at around 2 pm reporting the incident. Upon arrival, they found Ghoniya unconscious. They rushed him to AIIMS, where doctors declared him dead.

A suicide note was found at the scene. Police confirmed that Ghoniya did not implicate anyone in his death.
