Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced Kashi today, arriving in a special aircraft that touched down at Babatpur Airport around 3:15 pm on Sunday. CM Yogi warmly welcomed him upon his arrival, followed by an overwhelming reception from thousands of enthusiastic well-wishers. The air resonated with chants of “Jaishree Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev” as people joyfully showered flowers in celebration. Later in the evening, PM Modi attended the Kashi Tamil Sangamam event.
A notable feature of PM Modi’s speech at the Kashi Tamil Sangamam was the groundbreaking inclusion of simultaneous AI-based Tamil translation through Bhashini, catering to Tamil-speaking viewers. This innovative step garnered widespread appreciation. Earlier that morning, the first contingent of Tamil devotees, named ‘Ganga,’ arrived at Banaras Railway Station, where they were greeted with the resonating beats of Damru. Subsequently, these devotees made a direct visit to the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, offering their prayers and paying homage at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
CM Yogi, on this auspicious occasion, extended a warm welcome to all esteemed guests from Tamil Nadu, highlighting that organizing the Kashi Tamil Sangamam during the month of Kartik was a manifestation of PM Modi’s visionary approach. He emphasized that this event symbolizes a beautiful amalgamation of the North and the South.
Reports suggest that tomorrow, PM Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 37 projects valued at Rs 19,155 crore in Kashi. These projects comprise the inauguration of 23 ventures worth Rs 12,578.91 crore and the initiation of 14 projects worth Rs 6,575.61 crore.
