Raghav Chadha, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, praised the opposition’s I.N.D.I.A. or Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance delegation on Monday for traveling to the conflict-torn state of Manipur and said the mission’s representative MPs had returned “after wiping off the tears of the people of Manipur.”
Prior to the important meeting of the 21 MPs and the leaders of the Opposition bloc, conducted to inform the members about the Manipur situation and develop additional strategy for the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament, Chadha spoke to reporters. Sonia Gandhi, a prominent member of the Congress, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the party’s president, were also present.
After the meeting, according to Chadha, the bloc will inform Manipur about the Opposition’s upcoming move. After wiping away the tears of the Manipuris, an alliance has emerged. Chadha criticized the law as being undemocratic and claimed it was an attempt by the Bharatiya Janata Party to topple Arvind Kejriwal’s administration in the nation’s capital. “This not only violates the nation’s Constitution but also the rights of Delhi’s 2 crore residents. The BJP high command has decided to overthrow the Delhi government because they realize they are done in Delhi, the speaker claimed.
In anticipation of the bill, the AAP has issued a three-line whip to all of its Rajya Sabha members requiring them to be present in the chamber through August 4. The measure aims to replace an ordinance that invalidates a Supreme Court decision granting the Delhi government transfer and posting authority.
