AAP Releases Second List Of 60 Karnataka Candidates

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its second list of 60 candidates for the Karnataka Assembly elections on Friday.

Prithvi Reddy, the leader of the AAP in Karnataka, said after announcing the candidate list: “All of our candidates are from different societal groups. We chose the candidates after polling the public. They come from varied backgrounds and are professionals “.

“We have provided tickets to 11 ladies, 14 farmers, 18 attorneys, 6 physicians, 23 engineers, and a retired BMTC bus conductor, according to the second list of recipients”, he continued.

Even after the second list, the party claims that the average age of candidates remained at 45.

According to the party head, 59 of the 60 candidates on the second list are running in MLA elections for the first time.

The leader of AAP claimed, “Karnataka’s residents are sick of the current three parties, and 46% have indicated that they want a new party”.

Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP’s convenor, recently declared that the party will run for all 224 seats in Karnataka.

The party unveiled its initial list of 80 candidates on March 20, 2023.

Karnataka is set to hold voting on May 10, 2023, and the results will be made public on May 13, 2023.
