A Strong Step To Women Self Reliance: MLA Rajeshwar Singh Inaugurates Sewing Centres

Sarojininagar, MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh is again gathering admiration and good wishes out of his another public welfare endeavor. Dr Singh took a strong step towards making women self-reliant around his constituency and inaugurated sewing centers in village Shivri, Lunckonw.

It is not just the first or second but ninth sewing center opened in Sarojini Nagar by MLA Rajeshwar Singh. On the other hand Dr. Rajeshwar Singh does not want to take credit of this women welfare work. Inaugurating Sewing Centres he also gave 10 sewing machines for the ladies to be trained in the centres. The MLA says – ”Whatever I am doing is my duty.”

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh provided cycles to four meritorious girl students who achieved the highest marks in the high school examination. While addressing the gathering, MLA Rajeshwar Singh said that self-reliance of our women will make the state and the country strong.

Lucknow. Determined for the empowerment and self-reliance of the mother-power (maatri-shakti) of Sarojini Nagar, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh is trying to provide maximum opportunities and facilities towards skill development to the women. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh is continuously setting up centers of new sewing machines in the direction of providing work to the self-help groups of Sarojini Nagar.

On Monday, the ninth sewing center of the area was inaugurated in Gram Panchayat Shivri located on Mohan Road. MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh dedicated the sewing center to women during the function by cutting the ribbon. Here Dr. Rajeshwar Singh provided 10 sewing machines. The villagers honored their MLA and greeted him with goodwishes and thanks.

During the program, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said that our efforts are continuing in the direction of providing every facility and resource to women around us for making them self-reliant. This will help them develop their skills and will also provide them work. Taking this sequence forward, the ninth sewing center of the area has been inaugurated today. Women who want to work should come, learn and become self-reliant.

The MLA also revealed, ”Work is going on in the direction of making all the mothers and sisters associated with 400 women’s help groups of the area self-reliant. We aim to open more than 100 sewing centers in the region and provide 3,000 sewing machines to the women.”

Highlighting the importance of education, Dr. Singh said that education is most vital thing for the women towards their self-reliance. Under the leadership of CM Yogi, schools are being rejuvenated under ‘Operation Kayakalp’, education awareness has also increased and resources are being made available in schools. This witnessed the number of children in council schools increasing from 1 crore 60 lakhs in the last 5 years. It has increased to 1 crore 94 lakh now.”

MLA Singh told that 3 primary schools (Paharpur, Amausi, Latifnagar) of Sarojini Nagar are being converted into model schools. So far, swing machines have been installed in 55 schools for the education of children. All the small and big problems of all the schools in the area are being resolved and their demands are being fulfilled. Digital library is being established for the daughters.

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said that under the ‘Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ program, continuous public hearing camps are being organized in which efforts are made to redress public grievances. So far, more than 2,000 different public problems have been redressed. The process of resolving the pending issues is going on. It is our resolve to bring the benefits of the beneficial schemes of the state government to each and every one.

Congratulating everyone for the success of the Global Investors Summit, he said that due to the transparent policies of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and better law and order, foreign investment is coming to UP. 33.50 lakh crore rupees have come in the Global Investors Summit. Industrial development has got a new momentum.

Talking about the development works, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said that Ramlala darshan is being given to senior citizens through Ram Rath. Sports league is going on for the youth, so far 18 youth clubs have been formed and provided with sports kits. More than 100 new roads are being constructed in Sarojini Nagar. Work is also being done to bring the reach of ‘clean water to every house’ by 2024. Along with this 213 crore rupees have been approved, soon the pipeline will also reach every house bringing clean water to our people. He said, ”I have entered politics with the aim of public service. I am every moment present for the public.”

During this, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh honored four meritorious girl students Muskan Sharma, Mansi, Shalu and Anju by giving them cycles and certificates for their excellent performance in the High School Examination under the program ‘Pride of the Village’.

BJP office-bearers and party-workers along with including BJP District President Shrikrishna Lodhi, former MP Reena Chaudhary, Sanjay Chauhan, Kaushalendra Dwivedi, Shiv Shankar Singh, Rajesh Singh Chauhan  and a large number of women and villagers were also present in this program.
