On February 23 in New Delhi, Shahid Sayeed, the national spokesperson of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, emphasized that the recent visit of international personality Sachin Tendulkar to Kashmir with his family sends a powerful message. Sayeed asserted that those who sought to instigate terrorism in the region after the revocation of Sections 370 and 35A have faced a setback. He highlighted that Pakistan’s attempt to fuel terrorism not only backfired but also delivered a significant blow to “terrorism” itself.
In addition to this, Prime Minister Modi, while gifting development projects worth thousands of crores of rupees to Jammu and Kashmir, expressed the government’s commitment to transforming the Kashmir Valley into a premier tourist destination. The Muslim Rashtriya Manch praised the Prime Minister’s statements in which he envisioned the valley competing with Switzerland in terms of development.
It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister’s focus on developing the valley has garnered global attention, especially after the successful G20 event held in the Union Territory. The natural beauty of Kashmir has attracted substantial investments, particularly from Gulf countries, leading to positive economic growth.
