“A Grant Of Rs. 25,000 Will Be Provided For Sindhu Darshan festival In Ladakh As Part Of Pilgrimage-Darshan Scheme”, Says CM Shivraj

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, has said that in addition to the Manuabhan Tekri in Bhopal, the state will also erect statues of the immortal martyr Hemu Kalani in Jabalpur and Indore. The oldest culture is that of Sindh. In the city of Bhopal, a museum showcasing its attractions will be constructed. He added that guidelines had been established for offering cheap pattas to Sindhi migrants. This states that pattas will be distributed to qualifying Sindhi-displaced individuals in various locations throughout the state. By establishing designated camps, eligible Sindhi displaced individuals would be granted ownership rights to the property.

CM Chouhan spoke at the birth-centenary observances of martyr Hemu Kalani at the BHEL Dussehra ground in Bhopal today and made significant announcements in the Sindhi community’s best interests.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, announced that the state government has begun making plans to transport state residents to the Sindhu Darshan festival, which will be held annually in June at the Indus river ghats in Ladakh. Corona and other factors contributed to its lack of continuity. This year, a sum of Rs 25,000 would be given per passenger under the Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana to transport them to the Sindhu Darshan event. According to Chief Minister Chouhan, the annual budget of the Sindhi Sahitya Akademi will rise to Rs. 5 crore.

Land ownership rights to be granted to Sindhi refugees

At the event, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government had agreed to grant a specific exemption in premium rates for delivering pattas, satisfying a long-standing desire of the Sindhi community. This states that up to 45 square metres will be leased free of charge. Up to 150 square metres of land are still subject to the 5% rate, but after that point, it drops to 1 %.  In a similar vein, it has been decided to lower the premium rate from the current 10% to 1% and increase it from 150 square metres to 200 square metres. The new rate will be only 5% for commercial-use plots, down from the present rate of 25% for plots up to 20 square metres.

In the case of a site on the main road connecting Bhopal and Sehore, Chief Minister Chouhan stated that the payable sum would be Rs. 1 lakh 8,000 thousand only if the market value of the 1614 square feet of residential space was Rs. 1 crore 8 lakh. Similarly, if the market value of a residential property measuring 2152 square feet is Rs. 1 crore 44 lakhs, Rs. 1 lakh 44 thousand will be due. Apart from that, only Rs. 72,000 will be required to be paid for the premium exemption clause in the event of a market price of Rs. 14 lakh 40 thousand for a commercial shop measuring 215 square feet.
