9 Vehicles Including Police Buses, Ambulance Set Ablaze; Know Real Reason of Buxar Farmer Protest !

In Bihar’s Buxar distrtict, Farmer’s staged a massive protest demanding  compensation for their land.

On Wednesday, the farmers vandalized and set fire to the power plant located in Chausa. The furious farmers burnt 9 vehicles, in which  3 fire  brigades vehicles, 4 police buses, 1 ambulance and 4 bikes were there.

Along with three trucks , a JCB was also damaged. Apart from this, Five policeman were also attacked  by the farmers. Seeing the fierce demonstration of the farmers, the police came in action and started chasing the protesters by lathi  charge.

The furious famers  broke the glasses of the vehicles and set them on fire. Stone pelting has also taken place between the farmers and the police.

Buxar Protest: The reason of the Dispute

The  protesting farmers allege that the farmers are not receiving proper compensation for the acquisition of land for the under construction power plant in chausa. Farmers are protesting since  many days

To stop the protest of the farmers, the policemen entered the houses of the farmers at around 12 o’clock in the night of January 10 and then lathi-charged them. On the other hand, the farmers say that why did the police lathi charge us? Is it wrong for us to protest for our rights? Due to the brutality of the police, the farmers became furious and then the matter went so far. On the other hand, in this whole matter, Buxar SP Manish Kumar told that the farmers vandalized the power plant as well.

In the case of lathi charge by entering the houses of farmers, SHO of Mufassil police station Amit Kumar said that the police had gone to arrest the farmers against whom FIR was lodged by ‘SJVN’ power plant in the night. When the police arrived, they first attacked, after which the police resorted to lathi charge.

After this whole incident the villagers got united and chased the police from there.

Farmers started gathering outside the power plant on Wednesday morning. Angry famers created a huge ruckus. Meanwhile, there was a clash between the police and the famers. At present the  situation on the spot is intense.
