6.4-magnitude earthquake jolts Nepal, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

On Friday night, there were strong earthquake shocks felt in Delhi-NCR. According to the National Center for Seismology, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Nepal that sent shockwaves across North India, including the Delhi-NCR.

There were many earthquakes in the national capital region last month. On October 3, Delhi experienced strong vibrations following several earthquakes that struck Nepal in less than an hour. A third of 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck 15 minutes following the 4.6 and 6.2 magnitude earthquakes, which occurred within 25 minutes of one another, and a fourth of 3.1 magnitude struck 13 minutes later.
