4 Dead, Many Trapped As 3-Storey Building Collapses In Lucknow

A three-story building collapsed in Transport Nagar, Lucknow, on Saturday evening, resulting in at least four fatalities and 28 people being rescued. Emergency responders are still working to locate and assist individuals who may be trapped beneath the rubble.

The collapse also caused a nearby truck to be crushed under the debris.

Rescue operations are being conducted by teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the fire department, police, and the revenue department. Injured individuals have been taken to the hospital for treatment, and efforts to rescue any remaining trapped individuals are ongoing.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has acknowledged the incident and instructed officials to ensure that those injured receive proper medical care. He also emphasized the need to expedite the rescue operations.
