3 People Charred To Death As Truck And Tanker Catch Fire Following Collision In Vadodara

Police stated that three people were charred to death and one suffered from injuries when a truck and a tanker caught fire following a head-on collision on Sunday morning in Gujarat’s Vadodara district.

Vadu police station said, “The accident took place at around 6.30 am near Masar village, located 40 km from Vadodara city”.

Police further said, “The truck, loaded with tiles and on its way to Maharashtra from Morbi in Gujarat, collided head-on with an empty tanker on a state highway connecting Padra and Jambusar”.

“The driver cabins of both the truck and the tanker burst into flames after the collision. The drivers of both the vehicles and tanker cleaner were charred to death”, police continued.

“The truck cleaner received burn injuries and was rushed to a government hospital in Vadodara for treatment”, police added.
