Northern Railways announced on Saturday that it will temporarily halt and reroute over 200 passenger train services from September 8 to 11 here as the nation’s capital prepares for the G20 Summit.
On September 9, more than 90 train trips were cancelled, according to the timetable. On September 10, more than 100 passenger rail services will also be cancelled. The majority of these trains travel from Delhi to the Sonipat-Panipat, Rohtak, Rewari, and Palwal lines in South Haryana.
In addition, on September 11 both the Rewari-Delhi Express Special and the Delhi-Rewari Express Special trains would be cancelled.
Additionally, a number of trains that were expected to start or end at the New Delhi railway station during that time would now do so from the Ghaziabad or Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations.
On September 9 and 10, India will host the G20 Summit in its capital.

With preparations made for the huge event, including those for the stay of leaders of member nations and the invited guest countries, the New Delhi G20 summit will see the “biggest participation” in the history of the alliance.
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, US, UK, and the European Union are the 19 nations that make up the Group of Twenty (G20).

For the massive celebration, India has invited Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain, and the UAE as guests.
