Varanasi: 12 lakh lamps will be illuminated at ghats of Ganga on Dev Diwali

VARANASI:

12 lakh lamps will be lit on the ghats of Ganga on Dev deepawali festival  to be celebrated on the occassion of  Kartik Purnima,on 27th November. There will be one lakh cow dung lamps in it. If the sand across the Ganga will be lit, lamps will also be lit on ponds and ponds from village to city.

For making the occasion a grand success  district  administration has  converted the entire area in  20 sectors . The organizing   Committees have also been given different responsibilities.

Meanwhile  Light-and sound with projection holographic show will be organized at Ganga Dwar and Chetsingh Ghat of Shri Vishwanath Dham. Religious narratives will be displayed in it. It will be shown by connecting it to Kashi-Vishwanath-Ganga.

The duration of light and sound  show will be of 25 to 30 minutes. It will be shown multiple times at certain intervals. Cracker show will be the center of attraction. Apart from this, green fireworks will be done on the banks .Religious stories will be seen on the walls of Vishwanath Dham Ghat and Chet Singh Ghat.
