Beware! : Cigarette smokes you !

Smoking is the habit which is not too easy to get rid of. There are number of devastating effects of cigarette smoking on human health as well as the environment and Human Health.

The white thing with black fume has direct risks to human health. Clinical studies and surveys prove that smoking causes several health risks. Here are the health risks associated with regular smoking for humans.

Cancer, being the first outcome of smoking is too fatal and well known. One of the prime causes of lung cancer deaths in the world is smoking only. Its carcinogenic particles increase smokers’ risk of developing cancers in the lungs,  throat, esophagus and larynx. Smoking is also associated with cancers of the pancreas, bladder, kidney, lips, cervix and uterus.

Autoimmune disorder being the second health hazard is created by smoking.
Suppressing the body’s immune system, smoking increases vulnerability to diseases and infections.

This is why, smokers are vulnerable to the infections belonging to the respiratory system. Other than this, Type 2 Diabetes has also come out of the most recent clinical research which reveals the existence of a link between smoking and type 2 diabetes.  The study says that smokers are 30% to 40% more in the danger zone of type 2 diabetes compared to nonsmokers.

Premature Deaths are also one of the outcomes of Smoking. Due to the associated health risks, including respiratory cancer, lives of smokers get shortened by at least ten years in comparison to non-smokers. The World Health Organization says smoking is responsible for around five million deaths every year.

Stoke and Heart Attack are the sudden results of smoking. The smoking narrows blood vessels thus restricting blood circulation to brain, heart and other critical organs. The increase of the likelihood of blood clotting in the lungs and legs are also one of its dangers.  Altogether, there is always a possibility of smokers becoming easy prey to heart attack and stroke.
