PIB Fact Check Flags Fake Government Investment Website Promising High Returns

A fraudulent website claiming to be associated with the Government of India has surfaced online, misleading users with false promises of high financial returns.

The portal at ‘indaamkemcra.com’ impersonates the official National Portal of India to gain credibility and deceive unsuspecting individuals.

The website promotes a so-called ‘Quantum AI’ investment scheme, claiming that users can earn a monthly income exceeding ₹2,00,000 by making an initial investment of ₹22,000.

Authorities have identified these claims as entirely false and designed to lure people into financial traps.

The Press Information Bureau, through its fact-checking unit, has confirmed that the website is fake and not linked to any government initiative. It clarified that the Government of India does not endorse or operate any such investment schemes or platforms promising guaranteed high returns.

Officials have strongly advised citizens to avoid engaging with suspicious websites and online platforms that offer unrealistic financial gains. Such schemes often exploit trust in government institutions to defraud individuals.

People are encouraged to verify information through official government sources before making any financial commitments online.

Authorities continue to emphasise the importance of digital awareness and caution while browsing online.

Fraudsters increasingly use sophisticated methods to imitate official platforms, making it crucial for users to remain alert.

Citizens who encounter dubious websites or misleading content can report them to the Press Information Bureau Fact Check team.

Prompt reporting helps authorities take swift action and prevent further financial losses.

The government has reiterated its commitment to protecting citizens from cyber fraud and ensuring a safe digital environment for all.
