PIB Fact Check Debunks Fake Claim About Prime Minister Modi’s Alleged Address To The Nation

A post circulating on social media claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 6 PM on October 31, 2025.

The image accompanying the post appears to show an official-looking announcement, leading several users to believe that the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has made a formal statement regarding the address.

However, the Press Information Bureau’s (PIB) Fact Check unit has confirmed that the claim is entirely false.

The PIB Fact Check team took to social media to dismiss the circulating post, clearly stating that “this image is fake”. It further clarified that @PMOIndia has made no such announcement about any national address by Prime Minister Modi on the specified date.

The bureau stressed that misinformation often spreads rapidly on social platforms and urged citizens to remain cautious about unverified claims, especially those that appear to mimic official communications.

In its statement, PIB Fact Check reminded the public to rely only on official government handles for accurate and authentic information.
