Arrest warrant against Ameesha Patel
The popular actress, Ameesha Patel has landed in great trouble it seems. The actress entered the film industry with the popular romantic movie, ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’. The actress has gained a lot of fame over the years with her acting and looks. She is known for her role as ‘Sakeena’ in the movie Gadar.
Ranchi court has issued an arrest warrant in the name of Ameesha Patel and her business ally, Krunal. According to the media reports, the case has been filed in a fraud and cheque bounce case.
The state court has expressed its discontent as Ameesha and her lawyer did not appear before the court. The actress was summoned multiple times to the court but she failed to do so. Case is now scheduled for hearing on the 15th of April.

Ajay Kumar Singh, the complainant, is a native of Harmu in the Ranchi region and had accused Ameesha and her business partner of defrauding him. Ameesha had urged him to make a financial investment in the movie Desi Magic, as per his complaint.
He had sent Rs 2.5 crore to Ameesha’s bank account for the film’s production and promotion. The film had begun to be filmed in 2013, however, it is yet to be released. Since Ameesha and her business partner had promised to repay his money along with interest after the film’s completion, Ajay had sought his money back.
After repeated delays, Ameesha had given him two cheques for Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh in October 2018. But the cheques have bounced. She has been booked under sections 420 and 120 of the CrPC.
