Vivek Oberoi Meets Rishi Sunak At Downing Street And Leaves A Heartfelt Note

Vivek Oberoi, a Bollywood actor, was among the distinguished guests who attended a reception held by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in honor of UK- India Week.

The event took place in 10 Downing Street, the official residence and office of the British Prime Minister.

On Friday, Vivek Oberoi posted a photo of himself with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, expressing his gratitude for the invitation and warm reception extended.

Vivek Oberoi tweeted, “Thank you Prime Minister @RishiSunak for the warm welcome at @10DowningStreet. Your family & the entire team at 10 Downing were very gracious hosts. Your passion & commitment to stronger India-UK 🇮🇳🇬🇧relations was heartening to see, especially when you said that we are all “living bridges” between two great nations, inspired me deeply”, through his official Twitter handle.

Akshata Murty is the wife of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the daughter of Indian educator-philanthropist Sudha Murty and billionaire businessman Narayana Murthy.

The fifth edition of UK-India Week 2023, held between June 26 and June 30, represents an important milestone in India and the United Kingdom’s longtime partnership.

The weeklong event, organized by the India Global Forum (IGF), aims to celebrate and strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
