Vijay Varma took to Twitter to remind everyone that he made his debut at the Cannes Film Festival ten years ago with Amit Kumar’s film Monsoon Shootout, following rumours that he would do so this year.
Vijay tweeted, “Not my first time,” accompanied by a picture from his Cannes debut in 2013. The initial time was in 2013 with my film Storm Shootout. I’m leaving in ten years.” He likewise explained that he was just making things understood, and not pointing fingers at the distribution that named his Cannes visit this year as his introduction.
According to reports, Vijay will be a member of the Indian contingent at Cannes 2023. This year’s Indian delegation will be led by L Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting. When he got to the French Riviera, he posted a picture of himself.
Vijay’s performance in the web series Dahaad, which also stars Soham Shah, Sonakshi Sinha, and Gulshan Devaiah, is currently receiving a lot of praise. The eight-episode Prime Video web series features Vijay playing the antagonist.
Aside from Vijay, actress Esha Gupta, and Kangabam Tomba; Guneet Monga, an Oscar-winning filmmaker, will join the Indian contingent at Cannes this year to walk the red carpet. Miss World 2017, and entertainer model Manushi Chillar is likewise a piece of the designation.
