TJMM see a downfall on it's Day 6 collection
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar” is having a decent run at the box office when compared to Akshay Kumar’s “Selfiee” and Kartik Aaryan’s “Shehzada”. Though the movie has seen a downfall on Monday when compared to its weekend collection. The Luv Ranjan directorial “TJMM” was released on March 8.
The film collected 7 crore on Monday, which led to a total collection of 77.24 crore net. According to the early reports, the movie was likely to witness a 40 per cent drop in its collection on Monday.
Talking about the day-wise collection of Kapoor’s starrer, “TJMM,” collected 15.71 crore on Day 1, 10.34 crore on Day 2, 10.52 crore on Day 3, 16.57 crore on Day 4, 17.08 crore on Day 5, and 7 crore on its Day 6. This leads to a total collection of 77.24 crore overall. Though the fans did not expect such a big downfall on the 6th day of the movie.
Talking about TJMM, is a romantic comedy directed by Luv Ranjan, in which apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor are seen together. The film also stars stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi, who plays a major role in the film.
At the same time, this film, made on a budget of 200 crores, was released in theaters on March 8, i.e., on the day of Holi, and is getting great reviews from the audience.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the film Brahmastra, which did well at the box office. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor has returned to the big screen after a gap of three long years. Talking about the same, the actress said it was all because of COVID. Also, this is the first collaboration of Ranbir and Shraddha on the big screen.
