Tribute to Meera Bai: Hema Malini dazzles Mathura audience with a dance drama

The people of Mathura recently commemorated Meera Bai’s 525th birthday on Thursday, November 23. Hema Malini celebrated this momentous occasion with a dance drama that depicted the saint’s intense love for Lord Krishna. Narendra Modi, the prime minister, was also in attendance.

Hema Malini looked lovely in a yellow lehenga with a gold border during her performance. She accessorised it with striking gold pieces including a stunning necklace, a nath, and a matha patti, and wore it with a green blouse. A video of the old actress’s dramatic dance has become popular on the internet.

Dharmendra’s gift to the actress

Hema Malini and well-known actor Dharmendra have been happily married for nearly 40 years, and their tight bond has been greatly valued. Hema Malini shared with the media about the best present she has ever received from her husband on the occasion of her birthday. She added, “He is here for my birthday, and the biggest gift he gives me is spending time with us.”

The actress said that because she was so absorbed in her work, she didn’t realise time was flying by. Hema Malini, who is 75 years old, says that time has flown by and emphasises that age is only a number and that a person’s lifestyle greatly influences their quality of life.
