According to some reports, Katrina Kaif’s towel scene in Tiger 3 may be the reason the movie isn’t allowed to be released in Kuwait and Oman.

Tiger 3 is the sixth movie in the YRF Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. It is helmed by Maneesh Sharma, who has previously directed Fan and Band Baaja Baaraat. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan as Kabir and Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan will make brief appearances.

Why the release of Tiger 3 falls on Diwali

The first major release on Diwali in a number of years is Tiger 3. Vice President of YRF Distribution Rohan Malhotra discussed the film’s special Diwali release plan with ANI. “In every decision we make on a Yash Raj film, we always consider how it will affect the picture’s overall business,” the speaker stated. “We have faith in Salman Khan’s fame,” he continued. On the day of Lakshmi Puja, homes are filled with prayers. It’s the season for families to enjoy festivals. In the last eleven years, no producer has released a film on the day of Lakshmi Puja.  Since this is the third installment of the Tiger movie, we believe that there is a segment of the public that would like to watch Salman Khan’s film in honor of Diwali. Even on the worst day of the year for the movie industry, there are a ton of advance reservations.

“It’s the time after Lakshmi Puja,” he continued. Since many people attend the nighttime performances, shows at 1 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. are scheduled and are selling well. We believe that there will be a small drop during the evening when most people are occupied with the puja. They could watch the picture at night if they come.”
