The Kapil Sharma Show is undoubtedly one of the most-watched shows on Indian television. The show attracts viewers to the screen with hilarious jokes. Kapil Sharma and his team (Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Archana Puran Singh, Srishti Rode, Gaurav Dubey, Ishtyak Khan, Siddharth Sagar, Srikant G Maski) do a great job of entertaining guests and spectators. Fans have been waiting for Krushna Abhishek to return to the show as Sapna, to make it top listed yet again. After much controversy and confusion, Sapna returned to the show in April,with a warm welcome. Kiku Sharda cheered and applauded, Archana got emotional, and the audience gave a standing ovation as Krushna Abhishek playing Sapna took the stage. The actor shared a video on Instagram where “Dil Diwana” song can be heard in the background.
Normally, the show would see Kapil Sharma roasting the guests, but when Ajay Devgan came on the scene, things changed. Ajay Devgan and co-star Taboo attended the show in March to promote their movie Bholaa. Kapil asked the actor to perform the most difficult stunt to which Ajay’s reply infuriated everyone and Kapil was embarrassed as the Bholaa star replied, “I’m doing a jaw-breaking stunt, jab tere joke pe hansna padta hai.”
The team of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan appeared on the show to promote the film. This episode was so funny that it trended for weeks. One of the promos showed Salman Khan, at first referring to a woman as ‘Jaan’, to which the lady replied, “jaan le lungi teri, uske baad kisi aur ko jaan banaungi, uski bhi jaan lungi.” Salman told Shenaaz Gill to move on because Siddharth would have wanted the same. The comment caused a stir on the Internet. Meanwhile, presenter Kapil Sharma was seen performing hits with Bhaijaan.
In a recent episode, audiences witnessed Kapil Sharma grooving to the trending song “Calm Down” alongside none other than the singer herself. Nigerian rapper, singer and composer Rema made a guest appearance on last weekend’s show. This episode was a treat for her fans as Kapil Sharma also taught Shah Rukh Khan’s hit lines to Rema, from the movie “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”
Earlier this month, Kapil Sharma welcomed three powerwomen to his show: Oscar-winning film director Guneet Monga, philanthropist Sudha Murthy and actress Raveena Tandon. Sudha Murthy shared many personal insights and experiences in this episode. She recalled an incident about being the mother-in-law of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
