Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic comedy “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” hit theaters today amidst mixed reviews. While some viewers find the film entertaining and light-hearted, others express disappointment over the lack of logic in the love story, potentially impacting its box office performance.
Early indications, however, suggest a promising start for the film. With advance ticket sales grossing 2.11 crore on Day 1, the highest bookings are reported from Maharashtra and Delhi, with National Multiplex alone selling 31,000 tickets. Overall, around 96,571 tickets have been sold, hinting at a decent initial turnout.
Despite varying reviews, Shahid Kapoor’s fan base is expected to contribute significantly to the first-day box office collections, estimated to be around 6 crore net. Anticipation is high for potential growth throughout the day as positive word of mouth spreads, potentially boosting evening show attendance.
The film’s true test lies in its weekend performance, where it must attract a broader audience to secure a respectable collection. Benefitting from being the sole release this week, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” has a good chance of capitalizing on its romantic and youth-oriented appeal, unlike the previous week’s action-packed “Fighter” starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.

Drawing parallels to successful mid-range releases like “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” and “Satya Prem Ki Katha” in 2023, the industry remains hopeful for “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” to replicate their success. However, the ultimate fate of the film hinges on the quality of its content and its ability to resonate with audiences.
