Suhana Khan Celebrates Father Shah Rukh Khan’s First National Award Win

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, marked a milestone moment as the superstar received his first National Award in his 33-year-long career for his performance in Atlee’s ‘Jawan’.

Sharing an emotional post on Instagram, Suhana wrote, “From bedtime stories to stories that leave a mark, No one tells them like you. Congratulations, love you the most ❤️ @iamsrk

Along with the message, the ‘Archies’ actress delighted fans with a throwback black-and-white photograph featuring a young Suhana in her father’s arms.

The heartfelt post quickly gained traction as friends and colleagues from the film fraternity poured in their love.

Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday reacted with red heart emojis, while Shanaya Kapoor commented ‘Best’, summing up the emotion behind the moment.

A Family Celebration

The celebration did not end with Suhana. Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, also expressed her joy and congratulated SRK, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar, who received honours alongside him.

Gauri shared rare behind-the-scenes pictures of the trio and wrote, “Three of my absolute favourites just WON big…and so did our hearts ❤️ When talent meets goodness, magic happens – So proud, and so ready to brag about them forever!”

Shah Rukh received the Best Actor award for Jawan. Rani Mukerji won the Best Actress award for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.

The jury named Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the win marked a memorable evening for Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Humble Response

Acknowledging the honour, SRK reflected on the meaning of the award in a video message. His words resonated with fans and peers alike, highlighting the emotional depth behind the recognition.

“Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Thanks to the jury, the I&B ministry. Iss samman ke liye Bharat Sarkar ka dhanyawaad. Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today,” the caption noted.
