As Rhea Kapoor’s film Crew celebrated its first anniversary on Saturday, actress Sonam Kapoor took to social media to praise her sister.
Sonam described Rhea as ‘brilliant’ in a heartfelt message on her Instagram stories.
Rhea Kapoor marked the one-year milestone of her film Crew by sharing a black-and-white video featuring the star cast, including Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, with the song ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ playing in the background.
She captioned the video, “Happy one year to my history making, record-shattering #CREW #oneyearofcrew #crew.”
Sonam shared Rhea’s post on her Instagram stories, adding her own note of appreciation: “My sister is brilliant.”
Crew is a heist comedy directed by Rajesh A Krishnan and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit under Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network.
The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in supporting roles.
In Crew, three air hostesses find themselves involved in a gold smuggling operation.
The movie has been noted as a parody of the Vijay Mallya-owned Kingfisher Airlines, which shut down due to bankruptcy and the non-payment of dues and salaries.
Recently, Sonam also celebrated her mother, Sunita Kapoor, in a heartfelt post.
On her mother’s birthday, March 25, Sonam expressed deep gratitude for the lessons Sunita has imparted throughout her life.
