Shweta Singh Kirti Pays Emotional Tribute To Sushant Singh Rajput On His Birth Anniversary

More than five years after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti honoured his memory on his birth anniversary by sharing an emotional note reflecting on his lasting impact.

She wrote in her post, “People often ask me, do you miss him? And I smile, because how do I miss someone who has become my heartbeat…Now I listen to him every moment he beats in my heart, I live him every moment, I breathe him into every prayer, every silence, every smile, And somewhere along the way, I know I am becoming him, a little more every day. (sic)”

“To the heart that was pure gold, To the soul that was endlessly curious, gentle, fearless, and luminous, I salute you, Bhai. You did not just live a life, you left behind a frequency, a way of being, a light that continues to guide millions,” she added.

Shweta stated that although Sushant is no longer physically with them, his existence has transformed into a guiding light for countless individuals. Remembering his nature, she described him as a rare soul — endlessly curious, courageous, gentle and radiant.

She added that Sushant transcended the limits of his earthly life by leaving behind a powerful influence and a way of thinking that continues to resonate with millions even today.

Beyond Cinema and Stardom

Reflecting on his personality, Shweta said Sushant was far more than a successful actor. She described him as a seeker of truth, a deep thinker, a dreamer, and someone deeply fascinated by the universe.

She recalled his love for astronomy and his fearless approach to questioning life, which encouraged others to think freely, push boundaries and live with greater purpose. In her words, Sushant’s spirit is eternal — not confined to memories but present everywhere as an energy.

Ending her tribute on an emotional note, Shweta showered love on her ‘guiding star’ and wished that his legacy continues through the people he inspired to live with kindness, wisdom and compassion. She expressed hope that more individuals would walk a path that would have made him proud.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who would have turned 40 on Wednesday, died at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. The official post-mortem report stated that asphyxia due to hanging caused his death.
