Actress Sara Ali Khan is all praise for her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan as the trailer of his debut film Nadaaniyan hit audiences on March 1, 2025. Sharing her excitement on Instagram, she gave the trailer an enthusiastic endorsement. She posted on her stories, “Trailer nahi trail blazer hai…7th March!!!” which translates to “It’s not a trailer, it’s a trailblazer.”
Sara further added, “A wholesome bundle of innocence, romance, freshness, oh and of course insane swag,” expressing her admiration for Ibrahim’s debut performance.
Nadaaniyan follows the story of Pia (played by Khushi Kapoor), a South Delhi diva eager to craft her perfect love story, and Arjun (Ibrahim Ali Khan), a middle-class overachiever focused on becoming the debate team captain.

Their lives collide when Pia convinces Arjun to pose as her boyfriend in a transactional arrangement, aiming to create a perfect romantic facade. However, the simple plan soon takes a complicated turn as real feelings begin to emerge, making them question if love can ever truly be scripted.
The film’s makers shared their excitement on social media, stating, “A new semester begins, and love is their first test…Starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, watch Nadaaniyan, out March 7, only on Netflix.”
In addition to Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles, Nadaaniyan features an impressive ensemble cast, including Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in key supporting roles.
Directed by Shauna Gautam, the film marks her directorial debut. She expressed her heartfelt experience of bringing this project to life, saying, “Directing Nadaaniyan has been an incredibly special journey for me, especially as my first film.
