Bollywood icon Salman Khan celebrated a major milestone on Friday as he turned 60.
Known fondly as ‘Bhai’, the actor chose his Panvel farmhouse to mark the occasion, hosting a warm and intimate celebration attended by close friends and family members.
The gathering reflected simplicity rather than glamour, staying true to the actor’s personality.
In a gesture that delighted fans and media alike, Salman Khan stepped outside his private celebration at midnight to cut a birthday cake with waiting paparazzi.
Dressed in a black T-shirt and blue denim jeans, the actor appeared relaxed, cheerful, and visibly fit.
Videos circulating on social media show Salman personally feeding cake to photographers and sharing light moments with them.
An emotional highlight came when he warmly embraced a woman journalist and kissed her forehead, a gesture that won widespread appreciation online for its sincerity and humility.
Guests began arriving at the Panvel farmhouse on Friday evening. Salman Khan’s father, veteran writer Salim Khan, was among the first to attend.
Several prominent names from the film industry, including actress Huma Qureshi, were also spotted at the venue.
While festivities continued indoors, Salman’s interaction with the media outside became the standout moment of the night.
On the professional front, Salman Khan’s recent outing, Sikandar, did not meet box-office expectations. However, he made a cameo appearance in Aryan Khan’s web series The Bastards of Bollywood and continued hosting the reality show Bigg Boss 19.
The actor is now gearing up for his next major project, Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
The film, which also stars Chitrangada Singh, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, highlighting courage and resilience in a battle fought without firearms.
As Salman Khan enters a new decade of life, fans eagerly await what the superstar has in store next, both on and off screen.
