Salman Khan Greets Fans On Eid from Bullet-Proof Balcony Amid Security Concerns

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, whose latest film Sikandar is receiving rave reviews, made his fans’ Eid special by continuing his long-standing tradition of greeting them.

Despite facing heightened security concerns, the actor waved to his loyal followers on Monday, but with a notable change – he greeted them from his balcony, now fitted with bullet-proof glass.

Security Enhancements Amid Rising Threats

Salman Khan’s fans gathered outside his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai, to catch a glimpse of their idol.

However, this time, the superstar took precautions, interacting with the crowd from behind the protective barrier of bullet-proof glass.

The actor shared a video on Instagram, waving to the sea of fans while dressed in a white Pathani suit.

In his caption, Salman wrote, “Shukriya Thank you aur sab ko Eid Mubarak.”

This move comes after multiple security threats and incidents over the past year.

In January 2025, Salman’s residence saw the installation of new bullet-proof glass in the balcony, which has become the focal point for his fan interactions.

Along with the glass, the actor’s residence also received upgraded security measures, including CCTV cameras and a modern security system designed to monitor the area.

Previous Security Incidents And Increased Threats

Salman Khan’s security concerns escalated in April 2024 when two men on a motorcycle fired shots at his residence.

The actor believes that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail, was behind the attack with an intention to harm him and his family.

Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, was also threatened by individuals allegedly connected to Bishnoi’s gang.

The threats continued throughout 2024, with a tragic event occurring in October when Salman’s close friend, Baba Siddique, was shot dead near his office in Bandra.

Siddique, known for organizing high-profile Iftar parties, had famously played a role in reconciling the long-standing feud between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in 2013.

Salman’s Resilience And Eid Tradition

Despite the security risks, Salman Khan’s commitment to his fans remains unwavering.

He has always made it a point to greet his followers on Eid, a tradition that brings immense joy to his fans each year.

This year, however, the addition of bullet-proof glass reflects the escalating concerns for his safety, underscoring the challenges he faces as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars.

As the actor continues to navigate these threats, his connection with his fans remains strong, with many appreciating his efforts to keep up the tradition despite the obstacles.
