Actor and producer Atul Agnihotri on Sunday shared a warm, celebratory photograph featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and cricket icon MS Dhoni. The image quickly drew attention for capturing two of India’s biggest personalities in a relaxed, family setting.
Atul posted the picture on social media to celebrate his brother-in-law, Salman Khan. The frame featured Salman posing alongside his sisters Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma.
MS Dhoni appeared in the picture with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, adding a rare crossover of cinema and cricket to the moment.
Atul’s caption suggested that the photograph came from Salman Khan’s grand 61st birthday celebration, held on December 27.
The group smiled comfortably for the camera, reflecting an intimate gathering rather than a formal event.
The image followed another recent viral moment involving Salman Khan and MS Dhoni.
Singer AP Dhillon had earlier shared photographs of himself, Salman, and Dhoni enjoying a high-energy muddy adventure at Salman’s farmhouse in Panvel.
The trio rode an ATV through thick slush, laughing and posing while covered in mud.
Dhillon posted the pictures on social media and playfully asked fans to guess who crashed the vehicle. The images showed the three men in high spirits, highlighting their camaraderie away from the spotlight.
On the professional front, Salman Khan continues to stay active. He last appeared on screen in Sikandar in 2025.
He now prepares for his next major project, Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
The upcoming film draws inspiration from the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops on June 15, 2020, during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The confrontation in eastern Ladakh marked the deadliest India–China military face-off in more than four decades.
The clash occurred amid a larger standoff along the Line of Actual Control and involved intense hand-to-hand combat.
India lost 20 soldiers, while China also suffered casualties. The incident sharply escalated tensions and led to heightened military deployments and prolonged diplomatic engagement.
Battle of Galwan is scheduled for release on April 17, adding another high-profile chapter to Salman Khan’s filmography.
