Salaar Box Office Triumph: Prabhas’ Actioner Nears Record, Surpasses ₹644 Crore on Day 11, Poised to Break Baahubali’s Global Record

Prabhas’ latest film, the action-packed Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, continues its triumphant run at the worldwide box office. Just a day after crossing the prestigious ₹600 crore milestone globally, Salaar has now amassed an impressive ₹644 crore on its 11th day in theaters.

On the eleventh day of its release, Salaar raked in ₹12.60 crore in Hindi, pushing its domestic collection to ₹495.30 crore, while its overseas earnings climbed to ₹149.50 crore. Consequently, the film’s cumulative global box office collection now stands at ₹644.80 crore.

Salaar’s phenomenal success brings it in close competition with Prabhas’ second-highest global grosser, SS Rajamouli’s 2015 period epic Baahubali: The Beginning, which achieved ₹650 crore worldwide. Prabhas’ all-time highest-grossing film remains the sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), with a staggering ₹1788 crore.

Expressing gratitude to his fans, Prabhas extended New Year wishes on Instagram, acknowledging the overwhelming love and success Salaar has received. In his post, he wrote, “While I decide the fate of Khansaar, you all sit back and have a fantastic New Year darlings! Thank you for owning #SalaarCeaseFire and making it a big success.”

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, narrates the tale of the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the prince of Khansaar. The film, released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi on December 22, faced a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office.
