Renowned ‘Dhoom’ Director Sanjay Gadhvi Passes Away at 56; Family Suspects Heart Attack

Renowned Bollywood director Sanjay Gadhvi, celebrated for his directorial contributions to blockbuster films such as Dhoom (2004) and Dhoom 2 (2006), has tragically passed away. Sanjina Gadhvi, speaking to a news agency, shared, “He passed away at 9.30 am this morning at his residence. We are not sure what it is, but it is most likely a heart attack. He wasn’t unwell, he was perfectly healthy.”

Reports indicate that Sanjay Gadhvi experienced chest pain during his morning walk on the Lokhandwala Backroad. Sweating continuously, he was swiftly taken to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The suspicion is that he suffered a heart attack during his routine exercise. His funeral is scheduled for the late evening of November 19.

In 2012, he directed Ajab Gazabb Love starring Arjun Rampal, and in 2020, he crafted Operation Parindey with Amit Sadh and Rahul Dev.
