Rashtrapati Bhavan Set to Showcase Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent cinematic venture, ‘Dunki,’ is set to receive a special screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan, as announced by the film’s team. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Dunki’ delves into the complex issue of immigration, drawing its name from the term “donkey journey,” symbolizing the arduous and often perilous routes people take worldwide to pursue their immigration dreams.

The movie, featuring an ensemble cast including Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar, premiered in theatres on December 21, gaining considerable attention on the internet. Despite receiving mixed reviews, ‘Dunki’ has reportedly amassed ₹74.82 crore at the domestic box office

In the current box office scenario, ‘Dunki’ faces stiff competition from Prabhas’ ‘Salaar,’ which has already grossed ₹145 crore. Globally, ‘Dunki’ has garnered ₹103.4 crore.

Notably, this film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third release of the year, following the success of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan.’
