Ram Charan Reacts To Social Media Judging Films Before Release

Ram Charan has addressed the growing trend of social media users declaring films unsuccessful even before they reach cinemas.

The pan-India star said he prefers concentrating on his work rather than reacting to opinions that remain outside his influence.

Speaking about people who effectively write ‘obituaries’ for films without watching them, Ram Charan stressed that filmmakers can only remain committed to their craft. He said he does not hold any particular opinion on such behaviour because creators can only focus on aspects within their control.

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi recently attracted considerable online discussion after undergoing two release date changes. Despite the speculation, the actor maintained a composed outlook.

“I don’t have an opinion on this. We can only do what is in our control,” he said.

Ram Charan further added that he avoids commenting on matters he cannot fully understand or influence.

The 41-year-old star said he remains satisfied when he and his team approach their work with sincerity. He said audiences need not like every project but hoped they would appreciate the effort behind it.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports action drama in which Ram Charan portrays a crossover athlete skilled in cricket, wrestling, and sprinting.

The film also features Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu. The film is scheduled for release on June 4.

Ram Charan debuted with Chirutha in 2007 and rose to prominence through Magadheera, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. He later delivered notable performances in Orange, Racha, Naayak, Yevadu, Govindudu Andarivadele, and Dhruva.

Ram Charan’s career reached new heights with Rangasthalam and global success through RRR, whose song Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards.
