Veteran performer Rakesh Bedi, recognised for portraying Jameel Jamali in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has called on viewers to refrain from posting spoilers from Dhurandhar 2 on social media.
Through a video shared on Instagram, Bedi conveyed, “I am proud to be a part of Dhurandhar 2. I must say that Dhurandhar has not only broken, has not only shattered, but devastated all kinds of records at the box office. It has penetrated deep into the hearts of people in India and around the world. It is not only a commercial hit, but it is also making an impact on the masses, Indian people who have seen the film. The reactions, the collections are unprecedented, unheard and unparalleled. A lot of ‘un-s’ are attached with this film.”
While appreciating the film’s success, Bedi strongly advised viewers not to record clips from the movie. He also asked them not to circulate such content on digital platforms. He especially urged them not to share the climax.
Bedi pointed out that revealing such scenes can spoil the experience for others who have not yet watched the film. He described this behaviour as unfair and urged fans to be considerate. He also asked them to let others enjoy the film with the same sense of surprise.
Prior to the film’s release, filmmaker Aditya Dhar had also urged audiences to keep plot details confidential. He emphasised, “Here is my one, heartfelt, earnest request…..”Please don’t share spoilers!” Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious and walk out with their own deeply personal version of what they felt.”
As Dhurandhar 2 continues to perform strongly in cinemas, its creators have reiterated the importance of responsible viewing habits. Their message reflects concerns about how instant online sharing can undermine storytelling.
Viewers are therefore encouraged to celebrate the film’s success thoughtfully by keeping its key moments undisclosed.
