Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta delighted fans by meeting again at Wimbledon, celebrating a friendship that has lasted for 26 years. The actresses shared cheerful photographs from the event, giving followers a glimpse of their strong bond.
Lara Dutta uploaded a candid picture on her Instagram Story with the caption, “26 years later, happy girls are still the…”, accompanied by heart emojis.
Priyanka Chopra also posted a photograph with Lara and wrote, “So good to see my girl,” expressing her happiness over the reunion.
The images showed the two stars smiling together as Priyanka affectionately rested her hand on Lara’s shoulder.
Priyanka chose a sophisticated white ensemble, while Lara wore a blue dress complemented by a white shrug and a matching hat.
The actresses first appeared together in the 2003 film Andaaz, alongside Akshay Kumar. The romantic drama marked the Bollywood debut of both former beauty queens. They later shared screen space again in Don 2, where Priyanka portrayed Roma and Lara featured in a special role as Ayesha.
Their association stretches back to 2000, when Priyanka won the Miss World crown, and Lara secured the Miss Universe title, bringing global recognition to India in the same year.
Priyanka attended the prestigious tennis championship to watch the women’s singles semi-final from the stands. During the match, she also shared a light-hearted FaceTime conversation with her husband, Nick Jonas.
