Prabhas’ Fauzi To Release Worldwide On December 3, 2026

Director Hanu Raghavapudi’s much-awaited action entertainer ‘Fauzi’, starring Pan-India star Prabhas, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 3, 2026.

The filmmaker announced the release date on social media, describing the film as a story centred on courage, honour and freedom.

The project has generated significant buzz ever since it was announced last year. In April, the film grabbed headlines after leaked images from the sets surfaced online.

Raghavapudi appealed to audiences not to circulate the leaked visuals, urging them to experience the film as intended in theatres.

The makers also issued a strict warning against sharing leaked content, stating that such material would be reported and that necessary action would be taken. They maintained that the leaks compromised the cinematic experience they were carefully building.

Set in the 1940s, Fauzi is a fictional historical drama that explores patriotism, human emotions and socio-political tensions during the British era.

While announcing the title, the makers used Sanskrit shlokas.

Raghavapudi later clarified that the film is not mythological but draws philosophical inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita.

Fauzi marks Prabhas’s return to the period drama genre after Baahubali. He reportedly plays a character caught between duty, emotion and ideology.

Actress Imanvi stars as the female lead, while Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha feature in pivotal roles.

Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed the music, while Sudeep Chatterjee has handled the cinematography. Krishna Kanth has written the lyrics, and Sheetal Sharma has designed the costumes.

The film will be released in multiple languages.
