‘Pitchers’ season 2 trailer is out! Series set for a Christmas release.

Pitchers: TVF’s ‘Pitchers’ Season 2 was much eagerly awaited by the fans. Season  1 has been one of the most popular web series in OTT space.

The trailer has been released and fans are elated to know that the latest season of the series will be released on 23rd December 2022.

The first season found a lot of popularity with netizens and the cast of the four Pitchers played by Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Jitender Kumar, Abhay Mahajan struck a chord with a lot of people.

The trailer, while well received does come with a bit of a disappointment for netizens due to the absence of Jitendra Kumar aka Jeetu Bhaiya.

The OTT platform Zee5 shared the trailer and posted “You waited. You supported. You manifested. The Pitchers are here now. Pitchers on Zee 5, new season premiering 23rd December.”

The new season will be exclusively available on Zee5. Season 2 will see Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhay Mahajan and Abhishek Banerjee in the main cast.

Fan Responses

Fans responded positively to the teaser and one fan posted “ Cant keep calm, The OGs are back”.

Another fan wrote “Can’t wait for the season”.

There was disappointment too due to the absence of Jitendra Kumar, one of the leads from Pitchers Season 1.

To express the disappointment one fan wrote “Without Jeetu, Tata Tata Bye Bye Khatam”.

Another fan wrote “ Without Jeetu bhaiya this series is incomplete”.

The creator of Pitchers, Arunabh Kumar who also stars in the series said “ We are looking forward to Season 2, which is yet another collaboration with Zee5. This is perhaps one of the most awaited shows and I am grateful to the fans for their constant love for Pitchers since it was released. We have tried to tell this story of aspiring Indians in these changing times and we cannot wait for everyone to watch it.”

The series this time has been directed by Vaibhav Bundhoo who is a regular music composer on all TVF shows.

The Viral Fever production ‘Pitchers’ first came out in 2015 and got massive success and fan following.

Actor Naveen Kasturia was most recently seen in the thriller series “Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2’.

Abhishek Banerjee, was seen on big screen in the horror-comedy film ‘Bhediya’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
