Pathaan To Premier On This OTT Platform, Release Date Revealed!

Pathaan gets a release date on the OTT platform.

Shah Rukh Khan, aka the King of Bollywood, was back on screen after three long years with his much-awaited movie of all time, ‘Pathaan’. The movie was released on 25th January, 2023, in theaters and has almost collected 550 crores in India. But King Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ will not be limited to theaters only. The blockbuster movie is now set to release on Amazon Prime Video on March 22nd.

Pathaan gets an OTT Release date

Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ has been screening in 20 countries for 50 days, giving Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham all good reasons to celebrate. The movie will also release in 19 other nations, including the United States, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, the Fiji Islands, Malaysia, Mauritius, the Maldives, South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania.

It will play in 135 theaters in these nations. But now it’s time for Pathaan to have its digital premiere. On March 22, the movie will be available on Prime Video.

After 56 days in theaters, the movie will hit the giant streaming service. The platform is set to make an official announcement in the coming days.

Siddharth Anand on Pathaan’s OTT Release

Siddharth Anand, the film’s director, recently stated that the OTT version may contain deleted scenes. He was recently asked about Pathaan and if SRK’s character in the movie is religious. This was in relation to Rubai, played by Deepika Padukone, who asks Pathaan if he is Muslim and hears him tell his backstory. Siddharth stated that Pathaan’s country is the only thing that matters.

He said, “The four of us have a similar conviction framework, and similar movies we’ve experienced childhood with, and had faith in”.

The movie features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in the lead roles. It also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana with their impactful performances.

Upcoming movies of SRK

SRK will be next seen in ‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee. In this movie, King Khan will share the screen with stars like Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, which is expected to be released on June 2.

SRK will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Dunki’. This film can be released anytime in the month of December 2023.
