Parents’ Day Special: Shilpa Shetty Shares Throwback Photo With Her Mom, Dad

Shilpa Shetty Kundra frequently gives her admirers a gift by posting updates about her personal and professional lives on social media. The actress recently reached 30 million Instagram followers, and she thanked all of her fans for helping her get there. In order to wish her parents a happy Parents’ Day in 2023, the actress uploaded a flashback photo of her lovely family, which also included her mum, dad, and sister.

In honour of Parents’ Day on Sunday, July 23, Shilpa Shetty posted a lovely flashback picture on Instagram with her parents Surendra Shetty, Sunanda Shetty, and sister Shamita Shetty. A young Shilpa can be seen standing with her arms around her parents in the picture, dressed in a red frock and white trainers. Shamita, her sister, had boy-cut hair and was dressed in a red shirt and high-waisted trousers.

“For being the BESTest parents,” Shilpa said in the post’s description. Cheers to parents! Dad, I miss you! I adore you, Mom. We are eternally grateful.

In their comments, the admirers expressed their love for Shilpa’s family and felt sentimental. They thought she was adorable as a child and thought the Shettys were adorable. For those who are unaware, Surendra Shetty, the father of Shilpa Shetty, died on October 11, 2016. There was a cardiac arrest for him.

Shilpa Shetty last appeared in the comedies Hungama 2 with Paresh Rawal and Nikamma with Abhimanyu Dassani in 2021 and 2022, respectively, both directed by Priyadarshan. Shilpa is currently busy filming for India’s Got Talent’s 10th season, which premieres on July 29, 2023. Along with Kirron Kher and Badshah, the 48-year-old actress will serve as a judge on the well-known programme. Shilpa recently gave fans a sneak peek at some of the entertaining conversation she has with the other judges. Soon, she will appear in the Kannada movie KD – The Devil.
