Oppenheimer: Day 2 collection
Oppenheimer: Day 2 collection: The second day of the Indian release of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, and others, saw record-breaking box office receipts of Rs 16 crore net, up from day one’s Rs 14.50 crore net. The two-day total is currently at Rs 30.50 crore net, and the weekend is expected to exceed Rs 45 crore net. This Nolan-directed film will surpass any Hollywood import, including Fast X and Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1, in terms of its three-day total this year. However, Oppenheimer’s Day 2 collection in India has been impressive.
Given the genre, theme, and other constraints, Oppenheimer’s collections in India are quite amazing. Not just for weekdays but also for the second weekend, there is a considerable demand for advance reservations. With the exception of Tenet, which had a delayed and constrained release in the nation, the market for Christopher Nolan films is undeniably growing in India. Every new picture is performing better than the one before it. It is at an all-time high, leaving one to question just how popular the following Nolan movie will be in India. Oppenheimer actually had a bigger opening than Barbie in one of the very few movie markets: India.
India is the second-largest market in terms of admissions, just behind the home market (North America). For the type of movie it is, the docudrama is expected to gross approximately 175 million dollars in its opening weekend alone. Again, this is completely crazy, but the combined worldwide weekend collections for Oppenheimer and Barbie might reach $500 million.
Day 1: 14.50 crore of rupees
Day 2: 16 crores of rupees
Two days brought in a total of Rs. 30.50 crore in India.
