According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 continued its “Dream Run” on the first Monday after its release. Gadar 2, with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, made over 38 crore rupees on Monday.
The amount is pretty close to its first day’s earnings of 40.10 crores, demonstrating that Gadar 2 is currently “unstoppable” at the box office. The movie has earned over 173 crores in total, and it is on pace to join the 200 crore club. As Taran Adarsh noted in a tweet, a significant portion of the company’s business is driven by mass pockets.
“200 Not Available Today… #Gadar2 is Unstoppable… on Monday continues its Dream Run… Unbelievably, Monday is nearly AT PAR with Friday. CERTAINLY GOING TO DEMOLISH THE LIFETIME BUSINESS OF MANY BIGGIES. Mon 38.70 cr, Sun 51.70 cr, Sat 43.08 cr, and Friday 40.10 cr. Overall: 173.58 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#India business. Business in “mass pockets—particularly in smaller cities—iis eye-catching and brings back memories of #Sholay and #Gadar, the speaker continued.
Gadar 2 received mostly positive reviews. Gadar 2 is strictly for three types of people: Sunny Deol fans, those who miss the unrestrained excesses of bygone Bollywood, and those who think that “hate thy neighbor” is an axiom worth cheering for in a theatre, according to film critic Saibal Chatterjee, who gave the movie two stars out of five in his review for NDTV. The movie offers more than enough content to satisfy everyone.

The follow-up to the 2001 smash Gadar, directed by Anil Sharma, is titled Gadar 2. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma have all returned to play Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Jeete in the sequel. On Friday, the movie was released in theatres. At the box office, it competes with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2.
