The funeral of Tishaa Kumar, the 20-year-old daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar, was held in Mumbai’s Vile Parle area today, amidst heavy rainfall and waterlogged streets. The young woman passed away on Thursday after a long battle with cancer.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, numerous members of the Hindi film industry turned out to pay their respects to the departed soul. Celebrities such as Riteish Deshmukh, Saiee Manjrekar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and the Nadiadwala family braved the rain to attend the funeral. T-Series had earlier released a statement announcing Tishaa’s demise, requesting privacy for the family during this difficult time. According to reports, Tishaa had been undergoing treatment for cancer in Germany, where she sadly succumbed to her illness on Thursday.

Krishan Kumar, Tishaa’s father, took over the management of T-Series after the demise of his brother, Gulshan Kumar, in 1997. His nephew, Bhushan Kumar, is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

The funeral procession was a somber reminder of the fragility of life, and the film industry’s loss of a young and promising talent. Tishaa’s passing has left a void in the lives of her loved ones, and the industry comes together to mourn her untimely demise.
