On Saturday, actress Mrunal Thakur delighted fans with a fun dance video on Instagram, showcasing her moves to Vicky Kaushal’s latest track, ‘Tauba Tauba’.
In a light-hearted moment, she praised Kaushal, saying, “How good you are”.
Known for her role in the Telugu film ‘Sita Ramam’, Mrunal shared the monochrome video filmed in her vanity van with her 12.6 million followers.
Dressed in a tank top and joggers, she attempted to replicate Vicky’s signature hook steps from the song, though with a humorous twist.
The track is part of Vicky’s upcoming film ‘Bad Newz’, featuring music and lyrics by Karan Aujla.
In her post, Mrunal jokingly wrote, “Vicky Kaushal nahi aaraha hain yaar… how good you are… Kusha Kapila been sikha de plz,” referencing social media star Kusha Kapila, who recently nailed the dance in her own reel.
Kusha quickly shared Mrunal’s post on her Stories, complimenting her efforts with “Nailed it Mrunal Thakur… ekdum yehi hai.”
‘Bad Newz’ also stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, and centers around a comedic situation inspired by true events related to a rare pregnancy phenomenon called “Heteropaternal Superfecundation.”
Meanwhile, directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is presented by Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions, in collaboration with Leo Media Collective.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ is likely to hit theaters on 19 July.
On the professional front, Mrunal recently made a cameo in the Telugu sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which features an impressive cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
She also has upcoming projects ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ and ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ lined up.
