‘King The Land’ Moves To Third Place On Netflix Worldwide, Furious K-Drama Fans

‘King The Land’, starring Im Yoon-ah and Lee Jun-ho, is now airing on South Korean JTBC networks, and each episode is available on Netflix in other countries as soon as it airs. However, this is not the case in India.

Over the weekend, Korean drama lovers on social media gradually recognized what was going on when they were presented with the following messages instead of a play button: “Hindi Dub Coming June 29 (19th Life) and Hindi Dub Coming July 13 (King The Land)”.

Netflix is delaying the show’s original language debut until it has a Hindi version.

“Why wouldn’t you release [the shows’] episodes right away?” wondered one user.

“You can release Hindi dubbed versions whenever you want – what’s the deal with this odd marketing strategy? Keep the Hindi dub version for yourself and release the original one oh god!!!!!!” complained another.

“I’m canceling my subscription”, said another user.

“I hope they release it before the drama ends😭”, commented another K-drama fan.

The Netflix representative declined to comment on the record, but the firm stated that the show will only be released when the Hindi dub is available, in order to enhance the viewing experience of users.

For viewers who want to watch the show as it airs, the current wait of many weeks might not be the worst of it.

‘King The Land’ is about these two oddballs, one who despises smiling and the other who can’t stop smiling. But what is a cliche romantic story without the basic notion of opposites attract? However, they are not as dissimilar as they appear at first glance. A deeper look reveals that their emotional chord is linked to family concerns.
