After seeing Kim Kardashian’s mirror selfie of an unidentified woman, Shraddha Kapoor reacts hilariously. The actress responded to Kim’s most recent post on Instagram Stories by making a clever allusion to Shraddha’s upcoming movie, Stree 2.
It just so happened that Kim had just lately shared a mirror photo on Instagram in which a shadow of an enigmatic woman could be seen lurking in a corner. “So I took this pic last week when I was alone and now going through my phone I am freaking out noticing a woman in the window,” the creator of SKIMS stated in the caption.
Following this, there were numerous headlines about how people speculated as to whether the supermodel was endorsing Stree. Shraddha responded to this by sharing an item on her Instagram Stories and writing in the caption, “Woh Stree hai… Woh kahin bhi pohonch sakti hai (laughing face emoticons)”
The next film featuring Shraddha is Stree 2. Shraddha posted a brief video clip revealing the slogan on her social media accounts on Monday, teasing the release of the sequel’s first look. The brief video displayed a peaceful Chanderi street with a wall covered with a “missing” poster. As shown in the 2018 movie Stree, the phrases “kal aana” (come tomorrow) were changed to “raksha karna” (protect us) on the walls. This was demonstrated in the video. Sarkate ka Aatank (fear of the headless man), the movie’s central topic, comes next.
Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films will produce the movie under their respective production banners. Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee will all be back in the cast of Stree 2, which is being directed by Amar Kaushik. The movie hasn’t yet been given any additional information. The original Stree, which was released in 2018, was a huge financial success.
When Jio Studios published its calendar in April of this year, Stree 2 was featured among the films and TV shows. Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy series made its debut with the first episode of Stree, and it will continue with Roohi in 2021 and Bhediya in 2022, both starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
