Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan celebrates her 76th birthday and shares memories of her family dynamics, including her relationships with daughter Shweta Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan. In a throwback interview on episode 10 of Koffee With Karan season two, Jaya and Shweta candidly discussed their occasional disagreements. While Shweta humorously remarked that they fight about “everything,” Jaya acknowledged, “We don’t fight, we get angry.”
During the conversation, Shweta playfully interjected, insisting they indeed have their disagreements, recalling instances of phone-banging. Jaya, with a smile, admitted to their occasional phone disputes, highlighting their differing opinions. Shweta affectionately teased her mother, revealing the playful banter that ensues after such disagreements.
The conversation then shifted to Abhishek Bachchan’s demeanor, with host Karan Johar expressing surprise at the perception of the men in the Bachchan household being quieter members. Jaya debunked this notion, asserting that Abhishek is quite the opposite, often engaging in lively conversations with strong opinions on various matters. Shweta chimed in, praising Abhishek’s smooth and diplomatic nature, contrasting it with her outspokenness.
