Jawan: In Only a Few Hours, Shah Rukh Khan’s Movie Outsells Kisi Ka Bhai’s Entire Advance Booking By Selling 1 Lakh Tickets

Jawan by Shah Rukh Khan might be following Pathaan’s path. On Friday morning, early ticket sales for Atlee’s all-India action thriller began. According to a DNA report, the movie had already sold 1 lakh seats by 3 p.m.

1.18 tickets sold by Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan

At ten in the morning on Friday, advance reservations for Jawan opened. According to the report, 1.18 lakh tickets had already been sold by 3 p.m. According to the report, the tickets sold at that point were worth Rs. 4 crore. It also claims that due to the involvement of Tamil heavyweights like Atlee, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi, advance sales for the Tamil version of the film sold tickets worth $15–20 lakh in the same period. Jawan had sold 1,24,000 tickets between the three big multiplex chains by nine o’clock.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan vs Jawan

Jawan has already outperformed Salman Khan’s action comedy Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which earlier this year sold tickets worth 3.39 crore. According to the source, Jawan is expected to sell 2 lakh tickets on the first day of advance sales and may be able to outperform both Mani Ratnam’s historical epic Ponniyin Selvan 2 and the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan.

Pathaan vs Jawan

Pathaan, a spy thriller starring Shah Rukh, debuted earlier this year and opened to a record-breaking 32 crore in advance bookings for a Hindi film. The Telugu historical epic RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli last year, brought in Rs 58 crore in advance reservations. See if Jawan can top Shah Rukh’s own Pathaan and RRR on that front since it still has five more days before advance booking spikes.
